Reiki Café is a welcoming space where Reiki practitioners come together to practise, receive, and connect in community.

We begin in circle, settle in with a short meditation, and then move into our Reiki share—giving and receiving Reiki together in small groups.

Whether you practise regularly or haven’t used Reiki in a while, you are welcome. All Reiki traditions and levels of experience are welcome.

New to Reiki? You’re welcome too! Come along with a Reiki practitioner and experience Reiki together.

what to expect

🧘‍♀️ Opening Circle & Meditation

We’ll begin together with a short meditation to settle in, connect with Reiki, and meet the other participants. Towards the end of the meditation, everyone will receive a Short Attunement (Temporary Activation).

For those new to Reiki, this temporary activation allows you to experience giving Reiki during the gathering. For Reiki practitioners, it offers a refreshing boost to your existing Reiki connection.

✋ Reiki Share Practice

In small groups, one person receives on the Reiki table while the others give Reiki. We’ll rotate so everyone has the opportunity to give and receive.

🌿 Closing Reflection

We’ll come back together for a short reflection and grounding before carrying the energy of our practice into the rest of the day.

If you’re currently studying Reiki with Japan Reiki Studio or the Japan Reiki Association, you’re welcome to use the student rate.

Hi, I’m Nasreen—a Reiki Master Teacher certified with the Japan Reiki Association, head of its Canada Chapter, and owner of Japan Reiki Studio.

Reiki has been at the heart of my journey from self-healing to guiding others, and I’m honoured to create spaces where people can explore energy, connection, and peace—whether you're just beginning or continuing your path.

At Reiki Café, I’ll be your host as we breathe, connect, and share the beautiful energy of Reiki together.

Is there parking?
Yes. Free parking is available on the driveway and the side street.

What should I bring?
Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle. Most importantly, just bring yourself and come ready to give, receive, and enjoy Reiki together.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need Reiki experience to join?

Reiki Café is primarily a gathering for Reiki practitioners of all levels and traditions. If you’re new to Reiki, you’re welcome to attend when accompanied by a Reiki practitioner. You’ll receive a Short Attunement (Temporary Activation) at the gathering so you can experience giving Reiki too.

Can I bring a friend who’s new to Reiki?

Yes! Reiki practitioners are welcome to bring a friend who is curious about Reiki. Your friend doesn’t need any previous Reiki experience.

Will there be hands-on healing?

YYes. This is a Reiki share, so participants will both give and receive Reiki in small groups. As always, touch is based on comfort and consent.

Is this part of a certification or training?

No. Reiki Café is a community practice gathering, not a Reiki course or certification. It’s a place to practise, experience Reiki, and connect with others. Please click here for more on certification class.
